I found an interesting new language called "ooc". It is still under heavy development, but looks very interesting.
One of the reasons it appeals to me is that it builds on top of C in a very clean way: It doesn't add a huge amount of new "language magic", like C++ seems to do. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of meta-programming capabilities it has.
