Adaptive Hybrid Tracking for Mobile Outdoor Augmented Reality

Outdoor augmented reality provides many opportunities for improving the way in which information is presented and organised. However, to create a coherent and authentic experience, virtual content must be registered in the physical world such that the user's expectations of reality are respected. Modern mobile devices provide a wide variety of sensor data which can assist with achieving this goal, however few existing platforms explore how this data can be intelligently merged together to provide robust camera tracking and object registration.
